A time to give

Today I saw an ad about a boy who couldn't wait for Christmas he woke up and went to box number fifteen and got and got a circle chocolate.then he looked at number 24 and he got so frustrated. After that he got a yellow ball and played passing with it.he looked  at the clock.then he was sitting on the chair and he was spinning around.on his brother was dreesed up as a gruffalo then he looked at the  time again after that he got frustrated again. Then he looked outside and even at night then he tried to make. The time go fast but it didn't.then he do frustrated and and it was morning. It started to snow after that he was banging his legs on the floor softy after that his dad stopped him.after that they had dinner and then he ran upstairs and went to sleep early so that he cold wake up and give his mum and dads present.and I was surprised that he didn't open his presents I would like to give my mum and dad a new car.

Performance recount

Today we went to assembly and we performed on the stage with room fourteen. We performed there's one in the bush we did it because we have been learning about dinosaurs. I was so excited because I got to go on stage and all the other kids were laughing and cheering.They were clapping too. I was shaking when I first went on the stage in front of the whole school. I would like to do another item in front of the whole school.

Diplodocus

Diplodocus was the longest herbivore which lived millions of years ago. It was the biggest and longest out of the other dinosaur on earth.

The diplodocus is and amazing curture. it had a long giant neck like a long tree. It had a long neck so to can reach out to get anything. For him to eat leaves and so it could whack other dinosaurs.it had one giant claw be hide it toes. So it could fight others.

The diplodocus was a amazing dinosaur on Earth.

Egg and spoon race

First we went on the field and we played egg and spoon race . And we played egg and spoon  game and why we did it because so that. We would be able to write it on to our iPads and put it on our blog. And when I was a year two I played the spoon and egg game and the weather was sunny.

in the race we got split into groups and we pretend that the tens balls were our egg and when mr Blakey said go then we go and we put one hand at the back and one hand holding the egg and we had to balance in. Front when they come back they hand the tens ball to the nather person then it's their turn to do the same thing I was excited and the weather was all sunny.and I do not know if we won or not.

And I liked the race. we did not race the same way because some kids went fast and some toke there time so they toke there time so they will not crack there pretending egg and I wished if we would do it again.

Being a pilot

To be a good pilot you need to think carefully, make good decisions and always keep safety in mind. Being a pilot is cool because you can drop people off to any country and the other people can sleep at the back. I will love to be a pilot

My house

My Name is efelata and I am seven. My house is tall as a giraffes neck. The colour of my house is blue. There is three bedrooms. In my house. We have steps. I have a garage and my two cousins sleep in there. We have no garden. It's old.

Why I was late to school

The it was a normal morning first I get out of my bed then I brush my teeth.after that I make my breakfast then my mum brushs my hair and told me to go and get my bag so she can. Put my lunch in my purple lunch box after that I get in the car with my sister and my brother and we drive off to school.

In the way to school my car stopped and my mum got off to look what happened.then I saw a women that was wearing a black cape and she had black eyes. The she went to the back off the car and disappeared and finally we made it to school.

Cross country

First we all lined up along the start line and when mrs brut says go then we go then we run with a prefect and his name. was Tisa. I was scared because. it was kind of cool.takeytimou won and there were teachers standing at one place and they were cheering at all the children when it was finish we all lined up to have water. Ratcatcher

There are two different ways the ratcatchers use two kill the rats. They kill rats with guns and small dogs that can fit through the holes . and after that they dig them inside the grass and also  we can also use mouse trap.

How to run

Firstly  you look straight ahead because. If you won't you will crash into them and you will also have to focus on your running .  

Because  your first thing you will have to do is You bend your arms so you could run more faster and you will have to tip-toes and then You will have to run really really faster

Kiwi sport basketball

We played basketball every Monday morning with coach  vinnie and coach shanice. Also coach vinnie is tall like a tree he is the most fantastic basketball players in the hall and he is a nice and a cool at teaching also he is big like a bear and a kind man and that kown a lot about basketball and coach shanice is a nice and pretty girl to be in basketball she is skinny and knows everything.

We played lots of different games to learn new skills  and to play basketball and properly and well.

Our trees

Morning walk

Yesterday morning we went for a walk and a magpie it was so cool. Also we saw spider webs then our teacher .Mr blakey  told us to touch the grass  which felt cold we. saw a horse running fast and also we saw a lady  siting on it and the webs were on  the black fences there.  Was water  on them It was a nice. Walk yesterday

Mrs  Burt our principal is a nice and cool principal

To our school he is Hansam and fantastic and he is the most cool at talking at the asambly and he is really relaxing his office is nice and small's  nice  his  chair  is also a nice and relaxing cool chair to sate  on  his stickers arealso nice for the asambly   to give out  to people and wath he does is  he checks around class's to see who is in the zone and also he comes in with visitors into all our class's  because he is proud of his students the and .people that is friendly to another people.

Our playground

The whole school uses our playground. it on the bottom field and its near the kindergarten the playground is  also by the horses the.

playground is long and wide  it's  made  of wood metal and  plastic it looks  colourful we can  see black grey blue and yellow.

There are lots of things we  can play on the playground we .also .have monkey bars and we also have a lot of stuff also my favourite thing i like is the monkey bar also my nothere favourite thing is the  slide.

And  my thing i like to go on is the monkey bar and the slide.

Kazoo maker

On Monday in Mr.Blakey's class we made kazoos. We used scissors, Sellotape, colourful paper, two little rubber bands and a big one. First we cut the colourful paper out. Then we got the Popsicle sticks and we wrapped them around the sticks with the Sellotape. Next we pulled out one of the Popsicle sticks carefully. After that we stretched the big rubberband around the stick which was a little bit tricky. Then we put on the other Popsicle stick and wrapped two rubberbands around it. Finally we got to blow it. It sounded weird but it was amazing.
